Medical Staff

  • Counsellor

    The Counsellor is available at the surgery onTuesday afternoon and provides a support mechanism for various problems, this service is by appointment only.

  • District Nurse

    The District Nursing team provide care to patients in the community who are unable to attend surgery due to illness.

  • GP

    The practice currently employs 1 full-time General Practitioner and 3 part-time General Practitioners.

  • Health Visitor

    The Health Visitor holds baby clinics everyWednesday afternoon 2:30pm – 4:00pm. The Health Visitor offers support for the family.

  • Midwife

    The Midwife holds antenatal clinics on Friday afternoon 12:30pm – 1:30 pm. Advice on all aspects of antenatal care, childbirth and coping with a newborn child is offered.

  • Phlebotomist

    The Phlebotomist is available at the surgery onWednesday and Friday mornings to take blood samples.

  • Practice Nurse

    We currently have a full-time nurse and a Healthcare Assistant who can see patients for the following; diabetes, asthma, blood pressure monitoring, well person checks, cervical smears, immunisations, travel and health advice. Consultations with the practice nurse are available every day of the week.
